Prairie View Plaza, Hinckley, IL Breaks Ground



The ground breaking ceremony for Prairie View Plaza was held on April 3, 2008. Prairie View Plaza is a new 7,167 square foot retail/professional strip center located at 723 E. Lincoln Avenue, Route 30, Hinckley, IL. The center will have three units, approximating 2,400 square feet that may be leased separated or combined to suit tenant requirements. Units may be used for a variety of retail, professional services or restaurant applications desiring drive-up capability and will be available for September, 2008 occupancy.

Collins Dental Group recently relocated their office to 2025 Aberdeen Court in Sycamore, IL. This 10,500 sq ft state of the art dental treatment facility is home to four dentists and 25 employees. Dr. Dennis Collins also has 4,323 sq. ft. of office space and four large build to suit commercial lots still available in his Prairie Professional Park development and spec building office space at 2060 Aberdeen Court.

Kishwaukee Community Hospital



KishHealth System continues to respond to the needs of our growing communities with the opening of the new, state-of-the-art Kishwaukee Community Hospital. This 100 bed facility opened in DeKalb, IL in October 2007. The 240,000 square foot, $102 million facility features all private rooms and many new technological advances. The hospital is the second largest employer in the area.

Park 88 Welcomes 3M


The 410,400 SF building that became home to 3M in August 2007 features a 32.5' clear-height ceiling, typical bay sizes of 58' by 48', 35 dock doors with levelers, one drive-in door, parking for 154 trailers and 150 cars, 14,000 SF of office build-out and an ESFR fire-protection system.

Park 88 is a 565-acre master-planned corporate park designed to accommodate 7,000,000 SF of distribution, manufacturing, office and service/retail uses.  The park is served by the Union Pacific Railroad and has excellent access to the U.S. interstate system via north/south I-39 and east/west I-88.

Kishwaukee Education Consortium (KEC)


Construction of the new KEC Career Center was completed in June, 2008.  The building is 32,500 square feet and hosts a myriad of career and technology programs.  Approximately 500 students are served by the Career Center and both high school and college credits are awarded. 

Included in the programs offered in the building are:  Culinary Arts; Construction Trades; Criminal Justice, Graphic Arts; Early Childhood Education and Health Occupations.
